Job Description

The Senior PCB Designer will report directly into the Electrical Engineering Manager and be responsible for:

  • Develop PCB layouts for advanced power conversion products usingAltium Designer.
  • Ensure designs comply with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) guidelines and company standards.
  • Perform layout verification activities utilizing automated CAD validation tools.
  • Collaborate closely with Electrical Engineers to implement schematic updates and new product designs.
  • Work alongside Mechanical Engineers to integrate mechanical features, terminals, and board constraints.
  • Coordinate with Manufacturing, Operations, and NPI teams to optimize designs for production.
  • Lead PCB design reviews with cross-functional stakeholders prior to product release.
  • Manage multiple concurrent PCB design projects and meet critical development timelines.
  • Support PCB release processes through PLM systems and documentation workflows.
  • Create and manage PCB stencil files and manufacturing documentation.

The Successful Applicant

  • 3+ years of PCB design and CAD experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Altium Designer.
  • Understanding of PCB fabrication and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with SMT, through-hole components, buried/blind vias, and related PCB technologies.
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of power electronics is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with BluePrint, Valor, and/or ODB++ is a plus
