Backed by a multi-billion-dollar parent organization, they offer the stability and resources of a large company while maintaining the collaborative culture and career growth opportunities of a smaller regional office.Job DescriptionThe Senior Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Lusby, MD will be responsible for:Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the successful execution of heavy civil construction projects.Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.Perform quantity take-offs and track installed quantities throughout construction.Assist with subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and procurement activities.Participate in project buyouts and vendor negotiations.Monitor project costs, budgets, and production performance.Work closely with field operations teams to ensure schedule, safety, and quality objectives are met.Serve as a mentor and resource to junior Project Engineers on project sites.Attend project meetings with owners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.Split time between field operations and project administration responsibilities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
