About Our Client

Our client is a top general contractor in the West averaging $200M+ in revenue annually with an office located in Phoenix with expectation of hitting $400M in 2026. Their primary market in AZ is Multifamily. Due to a strong pipeline, they are immediately seeking an experienced and driven construction project engineer to help run multiple projects across the Phoenix area in tandem with project management staff.

Job Description

  • Contacting subcontractors and vendors during bid process
  • Project scope of work development
  • Project planning and implementation of activities
  • Document management and logging including safety documentation, submittals, drawing logs, RFIs, transmittals, close out documents, meeting minutes
  • Subcontractor and superintendent coordination
  • Travel to job sites as required by PM and/or superintendents

The Successful Applicant

    • 3+ years of experience working with a commercial construction GC
    • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
    • Multifamily, mixed-use, senior living, or hospitality experience
    • Experience with mentoring/overseeing junior PE's
    • Manage administrative construction duties, including document control
    • Prepare submittal schedules for approval and distribution
    • Assist the Project Manager with change orders, subcontractor scheduling and invoicing, reviewing monthly job costs
    • Assist the Superintendent with RFI reports, QA/QC documentation, and construction field operations
    • Assist with preconstruction tasks, including estimating and quantification
    • Collect and log closeout documents and punch lists
    • Hard-working, driven individual looking to learn and develop their talent
