The Senior Project Manager will oversee the successful delivery of complex commercial construction projects throughout the Charleston market and surrounding regions. This role is responsible for managing project teams, client relationships, financial performance, schedules, and overall project execution from preconstruction through closeout.

Job Description

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from pre-construction to closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to meet project goals.
  • Oversee budgeting and cost control to ensure projects remain within financial parameters.
  • Review and approve project plans, specifications, and contracts.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience
  • Proven experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $20M and $40M
  • Strong financial management and budgeting experience
  • Experience leading project teams and coordinating with field operations
  • Knowledge of Design-Build and CM at Risk delivery methods
