Our client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for over 40 years. This company, which is experiencing consistent growth, is renowned in the Southeast market with regards to their bread-and-butter project types - to include tilt-wall industrial and big box retail, as well as larger Commercial work such as schools and hotels.They currently complete an average of $200M+ each calendar year and maintain an overall headcount of 75 employees spread across four offices.

Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will:

  • Provide overall leadership to entire project team
  • Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
  • Build and maintain rapport with architects, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Understand and administer contract and subcontract agreements.
  • Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
  • Manage budget and financial reporting
  • Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
  • Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
  • Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Project Manager will have the following:

  • 10+ years' experience in Commercial Construction Project Management
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field strongly preferred
  • Experience with ground-up projects across the Industrial or Commercial markets
  • Proficient in project management software
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to self-manage and willingness to work in a remote capacity while utilizing the broader business for support as needed
