An established and growing commercial construction contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to help launch and scale a new Mission Critical/Data Center construction division. Job Description

  • Lead the delivery of Mission Critical and Data Center construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Develop and implement project execution strategies, processes, and best practices for the new division.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement, risk management, and client relationships.
  • Support business development efforts and help establish relationships with Data Center owners, developers, and consultants.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop future project management personnel as the division grows.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on operational planning, staffing, and growth initiatives.
  • Drive safety, quality, schedule, and financial performance across all assigned projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager - Data Center should have:

  • 10+ years of commercial construction experience.
  • Significant experience delivering Mission Critical, Data Center, hyperscale, colocation, or other highly technical construction projects.
  • Proven track record managing projects from preconstruction through turnover.
  • Experience leading large project teams and mentoring construction professionals.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, contract administration, and change management.
  • Experience working directly with owners, developers, engineers, and design teams.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and the ability to contribute to strategic growth initiatives.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and help build new operational capabilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
