Job Description

The Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Construction - MD will:

  • Lead and manage 3-4 concurrent construction projects ($1M-$10M), ensuring successful delivery from pre-construction through completion
  • Take ownership of estimating and budgeting for assigned projects
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong communication and relationships
  • Conduct weekly site visits across active projects to monitor progress and resolve challenges
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams on scheduling, cost control, and quality assurance
  • Report directly to the President and play a key role in business operations and growth
  • Participate in a transition period with a retiring senior leader to ensure a smooth handoff

The Successful Applicant

The Senior Project Manager - Healthcare Construction - MD will have:

  • 8-10+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
  • Background in healthcare (occupied/hospital), higher education, and/or lab environments preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with full lifecycle responsibility
  • Strong client-facing and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle estimating responsibilities and financial oversight
  • Interest in long-term growth and advancement within a company
  • Willingness to work in-office full-time and travel locally to job sites weekly
