About Our Client

This role will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of cost, schedule, and quality objectives. The Senior Project Manager will oversee project teams, manage client relationships, and coordinate all aspects of project execution. The position offers the opportunity to lead complex projects while mentoring junior team members and driving operational excellence.

Job Description

  • Manage all phases of light industrial and big box construction projects, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, contractors, and architects to align project objectives and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and addressing potential delays.
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring cost control and accurate forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, regulations, and quality standards on-site.
  • Facilitate effective communication and problem-solving among team members and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present regular project reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager - Light Industrial/Big Box should have:

  • Experience managing large-scale light industrial or big box construction projects.
  • 7-10+ years of commercial construction experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling and budgeting tools.
