Job Description

  • Seeking Senior Project Managers with strong experience leading large-scale commercial construction projects
  • Ideal candidates are energized by guiding project teams and investing in the growth and development of team members
  • Opportunity to build and strengthen meaningful relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients
  • Role leads teams across a full range of construction management responsibilities, including project delivery, financial oversight, and achieving profitability goals in line with Shawmut standards
  • Project exposure spans Life Sciences, Defense Light, Commercial, MSBA, Massport, and MBTA sectors
  • Provide leadership across all project phases-from preconstruction through closeout and post-construction support
  • Proactively identify and manage key constructability challenges, including cost impacts and logistical considerations
  • Oversee accurate and timely execution of financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, billing, collections, subcontractor payments, and change management
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and industry partners, reinforcing a consistent commitment to service, collaboration, and long-term value

The Successful Applicant

  • Over a decade of experience delivering construction projects in a general contractor role
  • Proven track record leading complex, large-scale builds across Life Sciences, Defense Light, Commercial, MSBA, Massport, MBTA, and Healthcare sectors
  • Strong history of controlling costs and keeping projects on schedule
  • Experienced in supervising teams and supporting staff growth and development
