Job Description

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Leading multiple construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring successful delivery aligned with client objectives.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, providing trusted guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing project scope, budgets, schedules, risks, and stakeholder expectations with minimal supervision.
  • Identifying potential project challenges early and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinating procurement activities, including RFQ and RFP processes, contractor selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Overseeing contractors, consultants, architects, and vendors while fostering strong collaboration among project teams.
  • Facilitating project meetings, driving accountability, and ensuring timely decision-making.
  • Maintaining comprehensive project documentation, financial tracking, reporting, and project records.
  • Reviewing and approving invoices, change orders, and purchase requests.
  • Delivering regular project updates, dashboards, and performance reports to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Building and strengthening long-term relationships with clients and industry partners.
  • Supporting business development efforts through networking, industry engagement, proposal development, and project pursuits.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a high-performing team environment.
  • Upholding company values, ethical standards, and operational procedures.
  • Contributing to company growth by achieving individual and team revenue goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Manager should have:

  • 10+ years of construction project management, owner's representative, or development management experience.
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex construction projects from inception through closeout.
  • Strong experience overseeing both interior fit-outs and base building projects.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and project risk.
  • Exceptional client-facing and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to build trust with executives, owners, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Established industry network and interest in supporting business development initiatives.
  • Experience across sectors such as corporate interiors, education, healthcare, multifamily, hospitality, cultural, or similar project types preferred.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a small, agile organization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, LEED, AIA, or PE are advantageous.
