Job Description

The Senior Project Manager's Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Lead project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, cost estimates, and risk management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed

The Successful Applicant

The Successful SPM will have:

  • 10+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Background managing commercial, healthcare, or light industrial construction projects
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, and Timberline software
  • Demonstrated career stability with a strong, consistent work history
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proven leadership experience managing high-performing project teams
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
