Job Description

The Senior Project Manager's Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
  • Lead project teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, cost estimates, and risk management plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Oversee procurement of materials and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project performance and implement corrective actions as needed

The Successful Applicant

The Successful SPM will have:

  • Bachelor's degree required in a construction related field (Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture).
  • 10+ years of commercial project management experience.
  • Experience overseeing a team of Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Experience working on projects in commercial, healthcare or light industrial
  • Software experience in Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline.
  • A non-jumpy candidate.
  • Team player, outgoing personality who has the ability/experience to work closely and talk with candidates.
  • Negotiating and relationship management skills.
  • True leadership experience managing teams.
  • Multi-tasking with a sense of urgency while maintaining strong attention to detail and accuracy is crucial.
