Job Description

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, procurement strategies, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Guide Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Monitor project financial performance, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
  • Review and manage contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with field leadership to ensure projects meet safety, quality, and schedule expectations.
  • Participate in business development efforts, client presentations, and project pursuits.
  • Provide regular project updates to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices across project teams.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Building and Construction Senior Project Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
  • 10+ years of construction project management experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale commercial, healthcare, life sciences, education, multifamily, or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
  • Experience managing project teams and mentoring developing professionals.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and industry best practices.
  • OSHA certification and PMP certification are considered a plus.
