Their collaborative culture, financial stability, and commitment to employee development make this an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager looking to build a long-term career with a leading General Contractor.Job DescriptionThe Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple municipal and public-sector construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, working closely with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal construction teams.Responsibilities include:Lead municipal, civic, public works, and capital improvement construction projects throughout ChicagolandManage project budgets, schedules, cost forecasts, procurement, and overall project performanceLead project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, subcontractors, architects, and engineersDevelop and maintain relationships with municipalities, public agencies, owners, and design professionalsManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, buyout, procurement, and contract administrationMonitor project financial performance, billing, forecasting, and profitabilityLead owner meetings and provide regular project updatesSupport preconstruction, estimating, and business development effortsEnsure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standardsOversee project closeout, punch lists, warranty, and turnoverMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
