This Senior Quality Engineer role owns the quality management system for a regulated manufacturing environment, ensuring ongoing compliance with AS9100D and ISO9001 standards. You'll act as the primary quality interface for customers and auditors while driving corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Maintain and continuously improve the quality management system to ensure compliance with AS9100D and ISO9001
  • Lead and host third‑party, regulatory and customer audits, including corrective and preventive actions
  • Act as the primary quality liaison for customers, resolving quality issues and managing requirement flow‑downs
  • Manage the corrective action system, ensuring timely closure and prevention of recurrence
  • Develop quality plans for new product introductions using APQP and PPAP principles
  • Prepare First Article Inspection Reports in line with AS9102 and customer requirements
  • Review contracts, purchase orders, travellers and engineering changes to ensure quality requirements are captured
  • Participate in design reviews and MRB activities, providing guidance on customer and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 5-7 years' experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong working knowledge of AS9100D and ISO9001 quality systems
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working directly with customers, audits and regulatory quality requirements
