Job Description

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and cost
  • Lead investigations into nonconforming products, including containment actions and root cause analysis
  • Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and track Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics
  • Collaborate with customers on quality concerns, providing updates, presentations, and resolution plans
  • Review and approve compliance documentation such as FAI, EIDP, and inspection records
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to enhance processes and quality performance
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to procedures and standards
  • Mentor junior quality engineers and support team development
  • Establish and document rework processes for nonconforming materials

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in quality engineering
  • (or equivalent combinations: 12+ years experience without degree, 6+ with Master's, 3+ with PhD)
  • Strong experience in root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality systems
  • Familiarity with compliance documentation (FAI, EIDP, inspections)
  • Experience working in regulated or high-reliability environments preferred
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with customers on quality issues
  • Knowledge of auditing processes and continuous improvement methodologies
