Job Description

  • Lead complex research, design, development, and product improvement projects.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and deliver innovative engineering solutions to challenging customer and business needs.
  • Drive global technology and product development initiatives across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage project deliverables, timelines, risks, and technical priorities to ensure successful execution.
  • Develop and implement new testing methodologies, specifications, processes, and technical solutions.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, conduct trade-off assessments, and recommend next steps.
  • Investigate product performance issues, identify root causes, and support corrective actions.
  • Create technical documentation, reports, presentations, and design control documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineers and project team members.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance departmental effectiveness and product performance.
  • Generate innovative concepts and help develop next-generation products and technologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in product development and engineering design within a manufacturing or R&D environment.
  • Strong project leadership skills with a proven ability to deliver commercially successful programs.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and working across cross-functional teams.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including statistical analysis and root cause investigations.
  • Knowledge of design validation methodologies, risk assessment tools, and structured experimentation techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others, build consensus, and lead technical discussions.
  • Previous mentoring or coaching experience with junior engineers or technical teams.
  • Self-motivated individual capable of working independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, both domestically and internationally.
