Job Description

  • Lead day-to-day construction activities on aviation projects, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and according to project requirements.
  • Manage subcontractors, airport representatives, inspectors, and project teams to keep operations running efficiently while minimizing challenges within active airport environments.
  • Maintain short-term project schedules, identify potential obstacles, and implement solutions to address site, logistics, and scheduling challenges.
  • Enforce compliance with FAA regulations, airport security procedures, safety requirements, and all applicable project standards.
  • Monitor construction quality, labor resources, equipment usage, and overall site performance to ensure project objectives for schedule, budget, and quality are met.

The Successful Applicant

  • Aviation construction experience delivering $100M+ airport projects
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and maintaining productive client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Thorough understanding of aviation safety requirements, regulatory compliance, scheduling, and cost control, with the ability to keep projects on time and within budget.
  • Proven experience overseeing large-scale construction teams and successfully executing complex projects in active airport or highly regulated environments.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide as needed and support the successful execution of aviation projects across multiple locations.
