About Our Client

Our client is a mid-sized General Contractor in San Francisco, that is currently turning away projects with how much work is in the upcoming pipeline for 2027. The business is specialized in large, class A TI construction as well as working with healthcare and life science clients. While downtown SF has the bulk of their work, the group has expanded across the bay area with projects through the peninsula and east bay as well, allowing the team to keep Supers close to home.

The business is looking for a Senior Superintendent who is capable of both leading large, $10M-30M TI projects, while also helping lead and develop the field team as the company continues growing.

Job Description

The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage and supervise construction projects across the corporate TI sector, ensuring timely and quality completion.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on-site.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and provide regular project updates.
  • Oversee inspections and ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
  • Resolve any project-related issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily reports and schedules.
  • Managing all field operations from groundbreaking through closeout
  • Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
  • Maintaining project schedules and driving production milestones
  • Enforcing site safety programs and compliance requirements
  • Leading weekly site meetings and progress reporting
  • Working closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum
  • Managing inspections, punch lists, and project turnover

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of GC experience in commercial construction; TI experience required
  • 5+ years of lead Superintendent experience
  • Local to the bay area preferred, though relocators will be considered
  • Proficient in Procore or equivalent project management software
  • Ability to create and execute schedule utilizing P6 or equivalent software
  • Prior experience with internal team leadership responsibilities
  • Strong relationships with local trade partners
