Job Description

  • Serve as the primary liaison with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants for all day‑to‑day field operations.
  • Lead the planning and organization of the job site and develop a detailed, accurate construction schedule.
  • Coordinate and oversee all field personnel, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of the project plan.
  • Ensure full compliance with project drawings, specifications, contract documents, and state/federal safety regulations.
  • Maintain daily reports documenting site activities, production levels, testing, visitors, and adherence to budgets.
  • Drive high-quality field execution across $45M-$70M projects, supporting both company standards and client expectations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and support a positive, team-focused jobsite environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Superintendent should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of commercial construction experience, including significant supervisory and trade experience.
  • Proven success leading ground‑up projects, ideally in the $15M-$30M+ range.
  • OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR preferred.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret contract documents; proficiency in layout and surveying.
  • Proficient with MS Office and Procore; familiarity with Oracle (OPC) and TimberScan preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to maintain schedules, manage budgets, and handle fast-paced field demands.
  • Comfortable working in varying climate conditions and prioritizing critical onsite needs.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to foster collaboration and positive site culture.
