Job Description

  • Serve as the senior field leader responsible for all on-site construction activities
  • Manage field teams, trade partners, Assistant Superintendents, and subcontractors
  • Lead execution of a ground-up mission critical data centre project
  • Drive site safety, quality control, and schedule performance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and milestone tracking plans
  • Coordinate all MEP, structural, civil, commissioning, and equipment installation activities
  • Lead daily coordination meetings and drive subcontractor accountability
  • Collaborate with project management, ownership representatives, consultants, engineers, and authorities having jurisdiction
  • Monitor construction progress and proactively resolve schedule, quality, staffing, and constructability challenges
  • Oversee commissioning preparation, startup activities, integrated systems testing, and project turnover
  • Ensure all work complies with contract documents, owner requirements, and mission critical standards
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reporting, and workforce planning
  • Mentor and develop field personnel while supporting operational growth within the organisation
  • Help establish best practices and procedures for future mission critical project delivery
  • Maintain strong client relationships and serve as a trusted project leader throughout construction

The Successful Applicant

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
  • 10+ years of mission critical or data center construction experience
  • Proven success delivering ground-up data centre projects
  • Strong knowledge of mission critical infrastructure, MEP systems, commissioning, and startup activities
  • Experience coordinating large trade partner workforces and complex project logistics
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documents
  • Strong understanding of quality control, safety management, scheduling, and productivity tracking
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to build trust with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability and ownership mentality



Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, or mission critical facilities
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience leading multiple Superintendents on large projects
  • Background in electrical, mechanical, or mission critical construction
  • Experience supporting commissioning and integrated systems testing
