The Senior Superintendent role is critical to successfully delivering projects across sectors like healthcare, education, and life sciences. The Senior Superintendent will play a key leadership role in ensuring operational excellence, while the Senior Superintendent also contributes to maintaining the firm's strong reputation for safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Job Description

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations as a Senior Superintendent on projects in DC and Northern Virginia
  • Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, and on-site logistics to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain high standards for safety, quality, and compliance across all job sites
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients
  • Lead project execution for renovations, tenant improvements, and ground-up construction
  • Ensure adherence to budgets, timelines, and project specifications
  • Act as the primary on-site leader, driving performance and accountability as a Senior Superintendent
  • Mentor and guide field staff while reinforcing best practices

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven experience as a Senior Superintendent or Superintendent on mid-size projects
  • Background in markets such as healthcare, education, life sciences, or commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes including renovations and ground-up builds
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to manage multiple subcontractors and stakeholders
  • Commitment to safety, quality control, and operational excellence
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage projects across DC and Northern Virginia
