Voted on as a best place to work and recognized in the ENR Top 100 and fastest growing companies.Job DescriptionWhat You'll DoIdentify appropriate protection and control schemes for transmission and distribution substationsSelect protection devices and ensure proper equipment sizing and material procurementPrepare scopes of work, estimates, and drawing packages including wiring diagrams, schematics, protection panels, one-line, and three-line diagramsPerform load calculations for panels, battery systems, voltage drop, and other substation componentsEnsure adherence to client standards and industry regulations related to relay protectionProvide field support and conduct pre-inspections for turnkey substation projects involving protection panels, breakers, transformers, control houses, and supporting equipment.Interface with clients and vendors to ensure project alignment and technical accuracyMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidanceCollaborate with internal teams to revise and maintain design/construction scope processesProtection & Control (P&C)Design P&C packages: one-lines, three-lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, relays, communication diagrams, SCADA pointsConduct battery sizing, voltage drop, and conduit fill calcsDevelop relay settings and perform arc flash and coordination studiesInterface with SCADA/RTAC systems and vendors for major equipment submittalsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
