Job Description

The responsibilities of the Senior Test Engineer include, but are not limited to:

    • Design, develop, debug, and maintain hardware and software test solutions to support OCS product development and manufacturing
    • Create system‑level functional tests including leak, flow, electrical, PCBA, and end‑of‑line testing
    • Develop and maintain LabVIEW‑based test software for new and existing production programs
    • Partner with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality teams to define test requirements and ensure full coverage of design requirements
    • Write and execute validation protocols for new and existing test equipment and fixtures
    • Create, revise, and release test procedures, work instructions, and related documentation through controlled change processes
    • Support transition of test solutions to contract manufacturing partners, as applicable
    • Troubleshoot production and field issues, supporting manufacturing, technical service, and system upgrades
    • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline test processes and support DFM/DFA and PFMEA activities
    • Mentor and train technicians and junior engineers in test, troubleshooting, and inspection methods

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Test Engineer will have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • 8+ years of overall engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in a regulated industry
  • Hands‑on experience developing, validating, and supporting manufacturing or development test systems
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience designing and validating functional test equipment for electromechanical medical devices in an FDA/ISO‑regulated environment
  • Proficiency with electronic testing, troubleshooting, and repair of printed circuit boards
  • Working knowledge of IPC standards (J‑STD‑001, IPC‑A‑610/620, IPC‑7711/7721); formal certification a plus
