Service Engineer - NJ

The key responsibilities of the CNC Service Engineer are:

• Install, start up, and commission CNC machine tools at customer locations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC control system issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and equipment evaluations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine performance, accuracy, and operational concerns.
• Interpret electrical schematics, machine drawings, and technical documentation.
• Provide customer training on machine operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding machine status, repair recommendations, and service requirements.
• Support customers remotely via phone, email, and other communication platforms when appropriate.
• Collaborate with technical support, applications, parts, and engineering teams to resolve complex machine issues.
• Maintain service tools, equipment, and company-provided assets in good working condition.
• Adhere to all company and customer safety requirements.
