Job Description

  • Analyse manufacturing and process data to identify trends, variation, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage statistical process control databases, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Conduct process capability studies and statistical evaluations of new and existing manufacturing equipment.
  • Monitor production quality in real time and implement corrective actions to improve process stability and product performance.
  • Train manufacturing and engineering teams on SPC methodologies, quality tools, statistical techniques, and problem-solving practices.
  • Lead and support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma process improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, management, customers, and suppliers to improve operational performance.
  • Generate and present reports detailing process performance, quality trends, and project status updates.
  • Manage Measurement System Analysis (MSA) activities, including Gauge R&R, stability studies, and accuracy assessments.
  • Support calibration programmes and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering, statistical analysis, manufacturing quality, or process improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies and quality systems.
  • Experience using SPC software and data analysis tools such as JMP, NWA, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of quality management standards including ISO 9001 and AS9100.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Six Sigma and/or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certifications are highly desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively within a manufacturing environment.
