Our GC client is looking to reinforce his estimating department with a Sr. Estimator. Strong experinece in ground up construction preferably: big box retail, grocery store, light industrial is required for this role. Experience using platforms such as Bluebeam and OnScreen takeoff is preferred but not required for consideration.

Job Description



  • Team Leadership: Leading a team of project managers, subcontractors, architects, and other professionals. Ensuring clear communication and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise within the team.


  • Client Relations: Serving as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their expectations are met and providing regular updates on project progress.


  • Budget and Cost Management: Monitoring project costs, ensuring the project stays within the established budget. Identifying areas for cost savings and managing change orders.


  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, whether related to scheduling, costs, or safety.


  • Quality Control and Safety: Ensuring construction practices meet safety standards, regulatory requirements, and quality expectations.


  • Contract Management: Reviewing and managing contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, ensuring all terms and obligations are met

The Successful Applicant

  • Light Industrial experience such as: big box retail, grocery, and tiltwall is is required for this role
  • Technical degree level education in construction or related field
  • 5+ years of experience working in the construction industry
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Stable work record

What's on Offer

Package is negotiable subject to experience but can expect a competitive base salary, plus per diem, for vehicle and gas.
