As a Senior Estimator, you'll contribute directly to the company's continued growth and success in underground utility construction.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for managing the full estimating lifecycle for underground utility projects while supporting operational and financial goals.Prepare detailed and competitive bid proposals for underground utility projectsDevelop accurate cost estimates using historical data, pricing databases, and industry expertiseAnalyze plans, specifications, and scope documents for water, sewer, storm drain, and utility workCoordinate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive and reliable bidsIdentify project risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategiesCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership to align estimates with project goalsParticipate in pre‑bid meetings, site visits, and customer presentationsMaintain thorough documentation of estimates, assumptions, and methodologiesSupport estimating handoff to production teams with clear reportingContinuously improve estimating processes, tools, and best practicesThe Senior Estimator role is based in the DMV region with limited travel to local project sites.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
