Job Description

  • Develop and execute annual capital investment plans aligned with operational and business objectives.
  • Lead major engineering and facility projects from feasibility study through commissioning and performance validation.
  • Drive Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Preventive/Predictive Maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and performance.
  • Oversee daily maintenance operations, equipment troubleshooting, and rapid response to production issues.
  • Establish maintenance KPIs, reliability metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Manage facility infrastructure, including utilities, building systems, HVAC, and regulatory compliance programs.
  • Lead implementation and optimization of CMMS/EAM platforms and digital maintenance technologies.
  • Oversee spare parts inventory strategies and equipment lifecycle management processes.
  • Manage energy efficiency, wastewater treatment, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor engineering and maintenance teams while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Sr. Maintenance Engineering Manager should have:

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline required.
  • 7+ years of engineering and maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment; food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering, maintenance, and technical teams.
  • Extensive experience with TPM, Preventive Maintenance (PM), and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) programs.
  • Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming experience.
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS/EAM systems and maintenance digitalization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, GMP, ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing facility infrastructure, capital projects, and contractor/vendor relationships.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
