To support this growth, they are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to improve operational efficiency, optimize production processes, and help drive successful product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.Job DescriptionLead the transition of new products from development to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring efficient production launch, process readiness, and smooth cross-functional handoffs.Evaluate, select, and implement advanced manufacturing equipment and technologies to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.Engineer and refine custom tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids that enhance throughput, improve ergonomics, and promote a safe working environment.Champion continuous improvement and sustaining engineering efforts by leveraging Lean manufacturing methodologies, including 5S, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping.Address production and product quality issues through root cause analysis, corrective action implementation, and the application of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) best practices.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, technicians, and production associates, supporting skill development and a culture of operational excellence.Coordinate cross-functional teams through key manufacturing milestones, converting product and process requirements into standardized work instructions, SOPs, and efficient manufacturing routings.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
