The organization continues to invest in automation, advanced fabrication technologies, and the development of its people to support long-term growth and success.Job DescriptionLead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes for fabricated and welded assemblies.Serve as the subject matter expert for welding methods, procedures, codes, and best practices.Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, and production scalability.Develop, qualify, and refine welding procedures across a variety of welding technologies.Design tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions that improve consistency and reduce distortion.Support automation initiatives, including robotic and automated welding systems.Partner with engineering teams to improve manufacturability during product development.Troubleshoot production challenges and implement sustainable corrective actions.Collaborate with quality teams to establish inspection and testing standards.Evaluate supplier capabilities and support make-versus-buy decisions.Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process standards.Champion continuous improvement through Lean manufacturing principles and data-driven decision making.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
