Sr. Mechanical Engineer - CNC/Metal Fab

• Design and develop products and systems by analyzing customer requirements, market trends, and competitive products.
• Apply core engineering principles to product design, including mechanics, hydraulics and more
• Utilize SolidWorks 3D CAD software to create parts, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Assembly teams throughout design and prototype development to ensure manufacturable and production-ready solutions.
• Manage prototype development, including dimensional inspections, assembly, and coordination of outsourced components and secondary services.
• Verify product performance and system functionality by developing test plans, executing tests, collecting and analyzing data, and documenting findings.
• Develop item masters, bills of materials, and cost estimates for products in development.
• Prepare and maintain product instruction sheets and manuals using Composer, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Provide technical support to internal departments, including Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Production Planning.
• Plan, track, and maintain project schedules using Microsoft Project.
• Support overall team objectives by completing additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
