Job Description

Reporting to the Operations Director, the Senior Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of schedule, budget, quality, and client objectives.

  • Manage ground-up big box retail, grocery, and large-format commercial construction projects
  • Lead project teams through planning, procurement, execution, and turnover
  • Maintain project budgets, forecasting, cost controls, and overall financial performance
  • Develop and manage project schedules while mitigating risks and resolving project challenges
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, consultants, superintendents, and subcontractors
  • Oversee contract administration, change management, and client communications
  • Mentor junior project management staff and support operational best practices across projects

The Successful Applicant

  • 8+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Demonstrated success delivering ground-up big box retail projects
  • Proven experience managing grocery store construction projects, including new builds and major expansions
  • Track record of successfully delivering projects in the $15M-$75M+ range
  • Strong understanding of commercial construction operations, scheduling, budgeting, and procurement
  • Experience leading multiple project teams simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or comparable construction management tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred
