Job Description

  • Manage multiple commercial construction projects ranging from approximately $1M to $40M in value
  • Oversee projects throughout the full lifecycle, from preconstruction through closeout
  • Lead project teams while providing mentorship and guidance to junior Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers
  • Collaborate with clients, design partners, subcontractors, and internal operations teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Drive project schedules, budgets, procurement activities, and risk management initiatives
  • Support the company's continued growth in Design-Build and collaborative delivery projects
  • Maintain strong client relationships and uphold the organization's commitment to quality and service
  • Work closely with senior leadership on strategic project planning and execution
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards

The Successful Applicant

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience within commercial construction
  • Proven ability to manage complex ground-up construction projects
  • Experience leading and mentoring project teams
  • Background in education, higher education, municipal, civic, athletic, healthcare, correctional, industrial, or other public-sector projects strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration
  • Experience working within Design-Build, negotiated, or collaborative project delivery environments preferred
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work closely with executive leadership and clients
  • Must be able to commute to and work from the Cherryville, NC office Monday through Friday
