Sr. Project Manager - Luxury Custom Homes

Project Leadership & Execution

• Lead all phases of construction from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project management plans, budgets, schedules, and procurement strategies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, consultants, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure seamless coordination among project teams, field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design intent, quality standards, and contractual requirements.
• Anticipate project risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Financial Management

• Manage projects ranging from $50 million to $100 million+ in construction value.
• Develop and maintain detailed project budgets and cost forecasts.
• Monitor project financial performance, including commitments, expenditures, contingency utilization, and cash flow.
• Review and approve subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, invoices, and change orders.
• Lead cost control initiatives while maintaining the exceptional quality expectations of luxury clientele.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for executive leadership and ownership teams.

Schedule Management

• Develop and maintain master project schedules utilizing CPM scheduling methodologies.
• Coordinate milestone planning with field leadership, consultants, and trade partners.
• Monitor critical path activities and ensure timely project completion.
• Identify schedule impacts and implement recovery plans as necessary.
• Manage long-lead procurement items and specialty materials sourced domestically and internationally.

Client & Design Team Management

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with ultra-high-net-worth clients and family offices.
• Lead meetings with architects, interior designers, landscape architects, engineers, and owner's representatives.
• Facilitate design coordination and decision-making throughout project execution.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, budget status, and schedule updates.
• Deliver a white-glove client experience reflective of the company's reputation and brand.

Quality & Craftsmanship Oversight

• Champion an uncompromising commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
• Ensure execution of highly customized architectural and interior features.
• Manage mock-ups, specialty finishes, custom millwork, stone installations, metalwork, and luxury systems integration.
• Conduct regular project reviews and quality assurance inspections.
• Coordinate turnover and commissioning activities to ensure flawless project delivery.

Team Leadership

• Lead project engineers, assistant project managers, superintendents, and project coordinators.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and excellence.
• Mentor and develop construction professionals within the organization.
• Coordinate staffing resources across multiple projects as required.
