Job Description

  • Lead multiple construction projects independently from pre-construction through closeout
  • Serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle
  • Take full ownership of project scope, schedule, budget, and risk management
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation and contingency strategies
  • Manage procurement processes, including RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations
  • Oversee contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure project alignment and execution
  • Lead project meetings to drive accountability and informed decision-making
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including financials and key records
  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and purchase orders
  • Prepare and present project status reports, including metrics and risk updates
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry partners
  • Support business development efforts through networking and opportunity identification
  • Collaborate with leadership on proposals, presentations, and project pursuits
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to a team-oriented culture
  • Ensure work aligns with company standards and performance expectations
  • As a Senior Project Manager, take ownership of delivering high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction
  • The Senior Project Manager will also support revenue goals and contribute to overall firm growth

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of experience in construction project management or related field
  • Degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or similar discipline
  • Proven ability to independently lead projects and manage client relationships
  • Strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, from planning through closeout
  • Experience reviewing architectural and engineering drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills in fast-paced environments
  • Analytical thinker with proactive problem-solving capabilities
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability
  • Established industry network and ability to support business development efforts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with AI tools or willingness to learn
  • PMP or CCM certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed
  • Collaborative team player with leadership capabilities
