Job Description

  • Lead multiple federal construction projects from planning through closeout as a Senior Project Manager
  • Oversee Design-Build (DB) and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) projects up to $50M
  • Manage budgets, schedules, forecasting, risk, and project compliance
  • Coordinate all construction disciplines including site development, MEP, fire protection, and building envelope systems
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure quality, progress, and safety standards
  • Travel approximately 50%, with potential for extended on-site project assignments
  • Direct and mentor internal teams, including project engineers, superintendents, and support staff
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and performance
  • Serve as the primary liaison for federal clients such as USACE, NAVFAC, and similar agencies
  • Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to leadership and stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement, change orders, cost controls, and financial reporting
  • Ensure full compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and safety standards
  • Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining strong client relationships as a Senior Project Manager

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years of construction experience with both field and project management exposure
  • Strong background managing federal construction projects (USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, or similar)
  • Experience leading Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects
  • Proven ability to manage projects ranging from $10M to $50M
  • Experience leading teams of superintendents, engineers, and support staff
  • Proficiency with Procore, P6 (Primavera), MS Project, Kahua, RMS, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel extensively and work on-site for extended periods when required
  • Eligible to obtain or currently hold a Secret Clearance
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills
  • Self-motivated and effective in a remote, team-oriented environment
