It's a culture that combines the resources and capabilities of a larger manufacturer with the close-knit feel of a team where individual contributions are recognized and valued.Job DescriptionLead First Article Inspection (FAI) and PPAP submissions from start to finish, ensuring timely approvals and a strong first-pass success rate.Investigate quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D and 5-Why, implementing sustainable corrective and preventive actions.Support AS9100, ITAR, and CMMC compliance efforts while maintaining ongoing audit readiness across the organization.Partner with suppliers to strengthen quality performance, drive corrective actions, and support supplier qualification and development activities.Serve as a technical quality resource for measurement systems, GD&T interpretation, CMM results, and inspection requirements for critical aerospace components.Identify and lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce scrap, minimize rework, improve process capability, and streamline inspection activities.Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams to address quality challenges and ensure consistent product performance.Analyze quality data and trends to proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
