As the company continues to expand, they are looking to bring on a Staff Accountant to join their team.Reporting directly to the CFO, the Staff Accountant will be responsible for accounts payable tasks, including entering and processing invoices, month-end financial reporting, audit support, and collaborating closely with other team members across the organization. This is a hands-on role that requires wearing many hats and offers the opportunity to work directly with leadership while gaining exposure to all areas of the business.Job DescriptionStaff Accountant Responsibilities:Assist with preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports, while supporting the month-end close processMaintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger by reviewing, posting, and adjusting journal entries as neededPerform regular bank and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial dataSupport budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis between actual results and projectionsProvide support for internal and external audits by compiling documentation and responding to auditor requestsConduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding issuesUtilize accounting systems and ERP platforms to process and manage financial data; experience with MAS 90 / Sage 100 is a strong plusCollaborate cross-functionally with various departments to support financial reporting needs and business performance objectivesReport directly to the CFO in a hands-on role with no direct reports and broad exposure across the organizationMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
