The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business unit, including month-end close activities, accounts receivable and accounts payable, cash flow monitoring, treasury-related functions, and financial reporting.Job DescriptionStaff Accountant Responsibilities:Support the Accounting Manager on day to day accounting functions.Support the month end process.Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.Review AR and follow up on outstanding balances.Review the balance sheet and P&L to ensure accounts are accurate and properly classified.Monitor cash flow and treasury needs to ensure sufficient cash is available.Perform account reconciliations and assist with journal entries.Handle ad hoc accounting projects and analysis as needed.Provide general support across the accounting function.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
