Our client is a highly respected Indianapolis-based developer/general contractor with a strong reputation in the multifamily and mixed-use space, specializing in complex projects valued at $20M+ that focus on creating community-centered experiences throughout the local market. With a full local pipeline that includes the closeout of a major downtown hospitality project and an upcoming $60M development preparing to go vertical, the company continues to see strong growth and is actively looking to build its next generation by bringing on an additional experienced Superintendent.

Job Description

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience as a lead Superintendent
  • Experience working on projects over $20M (required)
  • Experience creating 3-6 week look-ahead
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
