Job Description

The Superintendent will:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities for base building projects ranging from approximately $10M-$40M.
  • Oversee daily field operations, subcontractors, project schedules, safety, and quality control.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Manage industrial, warehouse, tilt-wall, and other commercial construction projects throughout the DMV region.
  • Drive project schedules and proactively resolve field challenges to maintain progress.
  • Conduct site meetings and maintain communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Utilize project management tools including Procore, PlanGrid, and Newforma.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget expectations.
  • Support successful project closeout and turnover activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • Approximately 15 years of construction experience.
  • Experience serving as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to independently lead field operations with limited oversight.
  • Experience managing projects valued at $3M+.
  • Strong scheduling, coordination, subcontractor management, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout a 75-mile radius of the Manassas, VA area.
