Superintendent - Civil Construction - East Orange, NJ

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all on-site construction activities from project start through completion
• Supervise field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and efficiency
• Enforce safety policies and promote a strong safety culture on-site
• Coordinate daily schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials
• Partner with Project Managers to ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to standards and regulations
• Maintain detailed daily reports, progress tracking, and site documentation
• Resolve field issues proactively to keep projects moving forward
