Job Description

Job Description:

  • Lead all on-site construction activities from project startup through closeout.
  • Manage daily field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and project stakeholders to maintain schedule and quality expectations.
  • Conduct site meetings and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively.
  • Monitor project schedules and proactively address delays or field issues.
  • Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment for all personnel.
  • Perform quality control inspections and ensure work meets project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, owners, architects, and consultants throughout the construction process.
  • Maintain project documentation, reports, and site records.
  • Support successful project delivery across commercial, academic, healthcare, retail, and multifamily projects.

The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Ability to manage projects valued up to $30 million.
  • Strong understanding of construction schedules, sequencing, and field operations.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to project sites throughout Connecticut.
