Job Description

The Superintendent - Commercial Construction - NoVA will:

  • Oversee day-to-day onsite construction activities from preconstruction through project completion
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on-site for all field operations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and leadership to ensure successful project execution
  • Mentor and guide junior superintendents and field staff
  • Maintain project documentation, schedules, and reporting using Procore and related tools
  • Ensure projects meet budget expectations, timelines, and company standards
  • Work across a range of commercial projects including community, education, and retail builds

The Successful Applicant

The Superintendent - Commercial Construction - NoVA will have:

  • Experience as a Superintendent on commercial ground-up projects ($15M+)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor junior team members
  • Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Bluebeam
  • Willingness to adopt new technologies, including AI-driven processes
  • Ability to travel to project sites across Northern Virginia and surrounding areas
