This general contractor has a growing portfolio and is excited to bring on a few additional people to the team including a Superintendent with at least 5 years of experience.

Job Description

The Superintendent reports directly to the Project Manager and serves as the on-site leader responsible for project safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. The successful candidate will oversee all field activities to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.

  • Lead all day-to-day field operations from project start through completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout the construction process
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, including weekly two-week look-ahead schedules
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve field challenges
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures
  • Coordinate inspections, permits, and interactions with local authorities
  • Verify layouts, elevations, plumbing, walls, and other critical construction elements to ensure accuracy

The Successful Applicant

For the Superintendent we are seeking:

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent within commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of construction operations, project sequencing, and field execution
  • Experience managing multiple subcontractors and maintaining schedule accountability
  • Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety and quality control
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Bluebeam, and PlanGrid
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Self-motivated leadership style with the ability to lead and inspire teams
  • Detail-oriented approach with exceptional time-management skills
