This general contractor has a growing portfolio and is excited to bring on a few additional people to the team including a Superintendent with at least 5 years of experience.Job DescriptionThe Superintendent reports directly to the Project Manager and serves as the on-site leader responsible for project safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination. The successful candidate will oversee all field activities to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards.Lead all day-to-day field operations from project start through completionCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel throughout the construction processDevelop and maintain project schedules, including weekly two-week look-ahead schedulesMonitor project progress and proactively resolve field challengesImplement and enforce safety protocols, quality standards, and company proceduresCoordinate inspections, permits, and interactions with local authoritiesVerify layouts, elevations, plumbing, walls, and other critical construction elements to ensure accuracyMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
