Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Field Operations, the Superintendent will oversee all field operations for commercial construction projects from mobilization through final completion. The successful Superintendent will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Lead day-to-day onsite construction activities for ground-up commercial projects valued between $5M and $25M
  • Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and productivity
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules
  • Enforce site safety standards and foster a proactive safety culture
  • Oversee quality control, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities
  • Identify and resolve field issues while maintaining budget and schedule objectives

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
  • Proven success leading ground-up commercial construction projects valued between $5M and $25M
  • Experience across a broad range of commercial sectors, including office, retail, industrial, hospitality, healthcare, education, municipal, or mixed-use developments
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, quality control, and safety management
  • Ability to effectively lead subcontractors and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders
  • Experience utilizing Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be located in or have strong ties to the Savannah, Georgia market
