Job Description

  • Lead daily onsite construction activities from start to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestone achievement.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Enforce site safety standards and promote a culture of safety.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and oversee project workmanship.
  • Facilitate project meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Support project closeout activities and successful turnover to ownership.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience.
  • Experience leading ground-up and renovation construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and jobsite activities effectively.
  • Proven experience maintaining project schedules and driving project completion.
  • Strong knowledge of jobsite safety requirements and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience utilizing construction management software and technology platforms.
  • Stable work history demonstrating strong tenure and professional growth.
  • Experience within commercial, institutional, municipal, educational, or similar project sectors is preferred.
