Job Description

The Superintendent will report to senior construction leadership and be responsible for leading all onsite construction activities from project kickoff through completion. This is a highly visible role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, labor personnel, vendors, and site activities throughout all phases of construction.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with contract documents and quality standards.
  • Manage site logistics, deliveries, inspections, and daily construction operations.
  • Interpret plans, specifications, and construction documents to proactively resolve field issues.
  • Conduct routine quality control inspections and ensure workmanship meets project requirements.
  • Maintain effective communication with project management teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Support project scheduling efforts and identify potential delays or risks before they impact project delivery.

The Successful Applicant

For the Superintendent role, we are seeking:

  • Previous Superintendent experience within commercial construction.
  • Strong understanding of building inspections, construction methodologies, and field operations.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, and inspections.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate field teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining schedule and quality expectations.
  • Flexibility to occasionally support weekend or after-hours activities when project demands require.
