Their portfolio includes landmark brownstone restorations, penthouse gut renovations, townhouse remodels, duplex combinations, and custom residences featuring bespoke millwork, imported finishes, and meticulous attention to detail.

Job Description

As a Superintendent - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing all day-to-day field operations on luxury residential renovation projects
  • Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Maintaining project schedules and ensuring milestone completion
  • Coordinating architects, interior designers, consultants, and ownership teams
  • Overseeing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, plaster, metal, and specialty finish installations
  • Managing occupied building logistics and coordinating with co-op and condo boards
  • Conducting quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction
  • Leading daily jobsite safety meetings and ensuring OSHA compliance
  • Reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Coordinating material procurement, deliveries, and site logistics
  • Identifying and resolving field issues proactively
  • Maintaining daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
  • Managing punch-list completion and project turnover

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience within construction
  • Extensive experience managing high-end residential interior renovation projects
  • Proven experience with brownstones, townhouses, penthouses, duplexes, or luxury apartment renovations
  • Strong understanding of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, plaster, and specialty finishes
  • Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, and interior designers
  • Knowledge of co-op and condominium renovation procedures and requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors and maintaining project schedules
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred
